Based. It's not unusual to see rich people wearing cheap digital watches. I've seen photos of Bill Gates, Ryan Gosling and Idris Elba wearing Casio digitals and Hank Paulson wearing a Timex Ironman. Picrel is a former CEO of Intel with his Casio F-105W.

A cheap digital watch makes a lot of sense for a rich person, even if the low price is irrelevant: it requires nearly zero maintenance and attention, it's extremely accurate, it has an alarm, and it's totally uninteresting to thieves.
