IMO your best bet might be going with a darker leather moc toe pair with a lug sole. red wing tends to look better the worse the abuse gets. if you mean "Canadian winter: have to walk through snow sometimes in downtown Toronto, really sux" (my Canadian Winter ordeal) then that could work for you. If you mean you really do experience the full-on horrors of the evil Canadian Winter, then maybe you should get a serious non-fashion pair for "those days".
