These two resonate the most with me.

I would add that, for me, it's not about unique aesthetics or flashy trends. My wardrobe only consists of a few quality items with little room to dramatically experiment. What satisfies me is wearing pieces that align with my personality and extend it to the real world. I place the most importance on craftmanship and construction, intelligent design, subtle details, and silhouette. Most people won't care about or notice any of these things, but appreciating them allows me to create a relationship with my clothes and makes me feel like they're mine.

Good read. I respect people who stick to their principles, even at the expense of commercial success and public opinion.
Fashion has always been elitist. Not many people can intensely resonate with a talented designer's vision; there's a unique relationship between the person who creates and the person who appreciates. If you let the ugly in, you're finished, you've compromised on purity and intensity... True of any community.

Thanks for posting, op.
