-Another probably better alternative if you are okay with numerals would be the luch one hander 3.0 ($80). Again, no date, and being a one handed watch it has character and quirky interest.
-Timex Marlin Handwinding reissue is another good choice, its very vintage-stylish but it is smaller at 34mm. Marlin autos have date. Or you can get this, looks good>>15779578

-On the vintage side you have the Polijot De Luxe, they go for $100 on ebay. Very kino but like with all vintages, YMMV
