After I graduated I was initially mostly looking at Omega, Tudor, Sinn, or Grand Seiko. I like the blue Aqua Terra a lot in photos, but I went to an Omega shop to try on an 8500 and wasn't really convinced. Then I was pretty set on Tudor, either a North Flag or a Ranger, but both had things about them that kind of bothered me. Eventually I decided I wanted a Rolex instead and was shopping for an OP, Datejust, or Explorer. I ended up finding a used Explorer in really good condition and I liked it better than the new 39mm Explorer I had tried on, so I picked that.

Phones can't focus close enough or synch with a flash, so not really. I used to use a Nikon D700 and a cheap old manual focus macro lens. I have a D810 now but I haven't taken new watch photos in a while.

I don't see anything teenager about it? It definitely doesn't stand out and it's a small watch and very few people have ever commented on it, but I love it. It has everything you need and nothing you don't need.

An Explorer fits your bill but not for your price range. Sinn or Damasko are pretty good if you're in that price range, most other stuff in that range is not really any better than what you would find for below your price range. Avoid Swatch group stuff in that range because you might as well buy an Omega if you want to pay a bunch of money for a Swatch.

My grandfather's old Omega Constellation for dress, my dad's Omega Geneve Dynamic and an old quartz Seiko as casual weekend watches, a Seiko SKX007 for getting dirty. I have a bunch of others I need to sell off.

1675 GMT-Master pepsi, Seiko 62MAS, Heuer Carrera, Grand Seiko 45GS, a blue Tudor Snowflake Sub. I don't really intend to buy another watch any time soon but I guess they're just watches I really like.

That one isn't nearly as bad, but what is even the point of the Air King at all besides being a cross between the Explorer and Datejust which is shittier and uglier than either of those?
