How should I know if i am ready for LSD/shrooms?

I have only done weed.

Is it bad for a developing mind? I just turned 18

There's the love of hip hop, there's the novelty of it, there's also a unique sound that only sampling can achieve. Framing entire genres within a beat is almost like building a dollhouse or a diorama sometimes. You get the impression of working in miniature.
More importantly, there's what I can achieve through sampling. My samples have gotten smaller and smaller through the years. I use to take loops when I first started, now I build my own loops out of tiny one and two second bits.
Example: A violin or a chorus sounds the same playing forward and backwards. I can thus use a single second or two of violin to create an entire string section, by reversing and unreversing and reversing again while I modulate pitch.
I can make complex arrangements from tiny pieces now, and it's different than when a rap song takes a loop from an old track and throws some drums underneath.
I'm actually producing complete tracks from up to 30+ unique records per song and doing my best to keep the constituent parts unrecognizable. The sounds I take are just raw ore, when all is said and done.
What really moves me is creating time and place and emotion in another person's mind. It's like magic, you know? conjuring up something so specific for anyone who cares to listen. I can do that with sampling and I can do it quite well, with the effect setting in for a wide audience within seconds of the music being played. It's just condensed poetry, in a way. Intravenous.
