Congratulations anon, thats just beautiful. By you being a likeable lad you developed a mutual respect between you and your superior. Going to work and working itself is so much more pleasant when you respect and are respected by the man in charge. I remember one time worked a wagie labour job and had a female boss, it was the easiest time and the best time i had working a dogshit job, she did her part well and always respectfully made sure we got shit done but also had our backs the entire time. Man that woman had balls, i am telling you dont feel guilty at all, that mutual understanding connection is also one entire way of gouging whether a man is fit or has thr potential to be the right man for the job or not. That Ceo would not have chosen you had it not been for the things he actually saw in you that he was looking for to beginn with, its just that checked for them in a manner you are not used to thats all.
