Kind of bizarre but I like it. That sub second register is giving the whole thing a fractal-like vibe. A vintage JLC is next on my radar.

nah man it's a pilot's watch from ww2, not a diver. The bezel spins pretty freely and the second crown merely locks it down. It's for synchonizing your time to the second with other clocks in lieu of a hacking movement.

These were also made by Omega, JLC, and Movado early in the war. I just love the look and history
