Unbranded is like $90 but the dye just falls right off it. Gap also makes some selvage but idk if it's raw. Levis has weird names for theirs like shrink to fit, or one wash or something.
I wouldn't skimp though, you won't get any 'sicc fades' at all, and you'll spend too much when an average pair of dark washed Levis would do the trick just fine. I'd get N&F left hand twills in the appropriate cut for a starter pair. They're like $150.

some entry level brands are probably Naked & famous, Gustin, and likely the cheapest TheUnbrandedBrand.

I don't really know your price range but those are probably your best bet because you are more likely to ruin your first pair. Not that its common to do so or anything.

This is probably going to be my next buy, however you'll notice its not selvedge.

I have developed some anxiety issues after changing schools in 11th grade. I had been in the same school since elementary with about 20-25 people per grade. I just never went for the first half of the day.
