If you can confirm it runs, the case hasn't been overly polished, and you can look up the model number online to confirm its not a redial I'd say go for it.

The 45xx movement is one of the finest series produced movements of the late pre-quartz era. They are generally extremely accurate, the only downside is that their higher beat rate can make them more prone to long-term wear issues than other Daini Seikosha movements of the same period, and if you ever need spare parts there are no cheap lower end versions of the movement you can canibalize for spare parts, so buying spares won't be cheap.

My King Seiko 45-7001 has been excellent since I got it from another anon who posts in these threads a couple of years ago.

Hey, long time no see. I still wear it a fair bit, just not when I'm working from home as I don't want to risk beating it up when i'm doing resin casting. I bought that solar tuna specifically to have an analogue watch with a timing bezel that could stand up to being smacked into things while I work on stuff.

How have you been? Get any interesting watches lately?
