what would a thread like that even be called? and would anyone actually post in it?
last time i tried making my own general thread (/tsc/ - thrift store chic) it always got derailed by all the jackasses bitching and moaning about me because god forbid i do anything
Also, a lot of the "clownishness" you get from how I dress comes down to the fact that I'm short, so my proportions always look fucked, and my current wardrobe is cheap in a way that obscures my interest in this style of dress. I really do aspire to dress more /tip/ and have everything i wear be in a more classic cut, fabric, and style, but its a long road before that becomes an option. maybe it's just on me for being one of the poorfags this thread tries to keep out.

i'm not criticizing your taste at all, i like /tip/ and all the fits posted here, i'm just saying that i'd like it if you could acknowledge my sense of style as within the bounds of /tip/, because i think it's as good of a place to post my fits as any, but i don't want all the whiners derailing the thread over my outfits to become a permanent fixture, so for that reason alone it's probably better if i didn't.
