I wore my 1490's (and my brother's black 1460's) with well-fitting, slim-fit (doesn't have to be, i just don't dig how jeans might muffin-top over the leg of the boot, so i stuff the leg of jeans inside the boot) and that's about it. I typically dress like a metalfag anyways, but shining the boots into dapper condition worked when i wore them with a suit to a party once. Pic is what some Levi's 551's looked like with them.
