Even though I am absolutely sure my sizing was correct, the Mister Lous were by far the most long and painful break in compared to any other boot I have. Anybody else have this same experience?

Bro you are probably some limp wristed zoomer twink femboi larping as some salt of the earth trucker. Everybody on this board seems to have to have some sort of comment to make whenever western/workwear is mentioned, posturing oneself as if they're some tough motherfucker who has eArNeD tHe vAlOr to be able to make such comments. Just post your skinny femboi body and accept that you're a faggot. Like jesus, who actually gives a fuck if lawyers ride motorcycles?

Obviously Pendleton is a pretty good middle of the road brand for flannels and native-pattern jackets. For boots check out Wesco and Whites. Not sure if it's your cup of tea, but a lot of Japanese clothing companies do an immaculate job at making some traditional americana and workwear pieces of clothing, obviously Iron Heart being one of them

Just get a pair of engineers. They are more applicable than you may think

And OP isn't to some degree? I work on construction sites and have my own separate work clothing that I tear up onsite, but also see it as worth investing money into higher quality durable workwear for home use. I hate to break it to you, but jeans and flannels haver traditionally been considered workwear. The only real difference is that purchasing shitty quality "workwear" is only going to give you an outfit that looks subpar AND is not actually going to be durable.

Alright guys, I just got my first pair of expensive boots this week (Mister Lous). My brannock is 11.5D, but I got these in 11E since people recommended going 0.5 size down from your regular boot size and to size up in width due to the narrow toe. So far it seems like a good fit, snug with about 0.25 -0.5 inches of toe room, but my heel has been rubbing very slightly on the back. I've been using mole skin as a temporary solution and its been working at reducing friction, but I'm wondering if the rubbing will eventually stop once I "break in the boot". Any thoughts?
