Hey /fa/ggots,
I've been looking for a pair of decent shoes that are both durable and comfortable. I'm a straight cut guy that doesn't necessarily care about social status attached to the shoe that would justify paying £300+ for a pair of shoes. For the most part I wear boots because I usually stick to a single pair of shoes and wear them out till my next pair but in day to day so I don't really care about the shoes weight either. The main two aspects I care about are durability and comfort. Doing the research I've arrived at the two brands: New Balance and Asics. A lot of runners claim the Asics Kayano are the comfiest shoes they have ever worn however I have zero experience with both brands and in my opinion, New Balance shoes look like they could go better with casual clothes than Asics... Would anyone be able to shine some light on this for me. I refuse to purchase Nike and Adidas. I bought a pair of Adidas knitted shoes and wrecked them within a week or so and likewise with a pair of Nike Reacts when they first hit the shelves.

I am not sure if I am asking too much here but I am looking for shoes that ideally are very comfortable and somewhat durable for at least a couple month worth of wear. Anyone know of a shoe like this? Does such a holy grail shoe even exist?
