Some examples: Vans Sk8 His. Price range on quality, as you can find them in leather as well for >$100. If you do get them in cloth (which is about $60, I recall) be sure to colour in the stitching with Sharpie.
Nike Blazer His. You can find these on eBay for around $50.
German Army Trainers (GATs). Look them up in eBay.

Basically any sneaker with a good silhouette. Not bulky shit like DCs or most other skate shoes. Vans are "alright" but considered pleb-tier since everyone and their mother wears them, so feel free to cop but you won't be anyone special. Also, Chucks. $40. Get a pair in full white and get them dirty and worn, they'll look objectively good.

Just so you know - I would hold off on buying expensive stuff until you're sure about the way clothes fit on you. Making sure your clothes fit is by far the most important part of dressing 'well'. Once you know your size and have starved yourself sufficiently, then work your way up to the big leagues.

I'm trying to build some more rustic/hiker in my wardrobe. I am especially looking for pants, socks, and footwear (something similar to Clarks Desert Treks), but post any inspo you have!

Why does /fa not like color in clothing? I know you guys are all about the goth-ninja, street-ninja aethstetic but near every piece of clothing that's not monochrome posted on /fa/ is frowned upon.

If I were to take your advice and not go full ninja I'd look like a total basic bitch.

I've only been here since the end of last year so I don't know if this is a new thing or not.
