I seen it on mad occasions, it's some straight 48 laws pimp shit that they're in an easier position to deploy than young men - because they radiate authority and confidence.
Most others will always pick up on that vibe somehow, and... Well, you ever seen an older guy that people just LISTEN to, whether it's advice or instructions?

If you're older but not old old, if you're a genuinely interesting person with experiences and personal evolution that the young & ambitious might aspire to, you're in a great position to take a rarely challenged Alpha position.
