but it's a clean 6309 powered, watch
deployment clasp gator band ran more than most watches new.

i was searching for a NOS panerai strap but meh

6309 equipped vintage seiko i rebuilt in 2008.
replaced counterweight, crystal with NOS one, adjusted movement, and removed/replaced mainspring assembly because it wasn't working (there 1mmX3mm screw jammed into the balance wheel and rear of the face.

still works 100% fine today

the band it's sitting on is a 18mm croc band that shipped with a vintage hamilton, watch repair shop had it as NOS.

it has a cheap ebay deployment clasp on it, only issue was that the ebay deployment clasp spring bar on wasn't providing sufficent force to hold the dep clasp

so i actually had to drill out the lug holes on the ebay dep clasp to fit the spring bar that was designed to hold the hamilton's buckle

what i thought to be a $7 fix vs a $150 deployment clasp from the shop turned out to be a $250 fix

learned my lesson
