Eau de baux and tobacco are more feminine and less complex versions of Guerlain shalimar. Guerlain shalimar has the spicy vanilla and more. If you like the tobacco note in tobacco Vanille you can consider Burberry London. It also has a cheap synthetic tobacco note.

I’d say it’s sweet spicy gourmand fragrance. Somewhat feminine leaning. Guerlain shalimar is more complex and masculine. Similar with the quality vanilla and spices

Eau de beaux is ok. It’s marketed for men so insecure men can also wear sweet and spicy vanilla frags similar to the superior Guerlain shalimar. This lavendar frag by Loccitane is also nice. However, Caron pour un homme is superior.

Also all the different versions within shalimar and habit rouge are worth testing. Like this anon said, the old Guerlain edc concentrations are great, and the shalimar edcs are easy to pick up second hand. In my opinion, shalimar parfum is better but it’s usually more expensive. I think habit rouge edc is the best of the HRs. Following up on Guerlain edcs, they’re all great. I like vetiver and Jicky in edc too. With Guerlain the concentrations change the scents. I own a bottle of mitsouko edc but haven’t opened it yet. I wasn’t sure if I would resell it or not but I’m really like the old bottle of mitsouko parfum I have

Yes there are lots of habit rouge and shalimar flankers that I would like to try. I own habit rouge leau and it’s a nice modern take on shalimar. Is exactly light like the name says.

Try a classic edc like guerlain eau de Guerlain, 4711 or maybe something like Guerlain vetiver. I also recommend bvlgari aqva, it has a similar petrol accord but I think it comes from the seaweed.
Sotd vintage Dior Fahrenheit, has anyone tried the vintage and modern for comparison? I don’t want to run through this bottle and I haven’t seen another mislabeled vintage bottle pop up since I’ve bought the last.

Speaking of shirts. What is the naked and famous of dress shirts? I want a good entry level shirt made somewhere white, Japan included

Yes still holds the crown. You’ll be hard Guerlain habit rouge in originality, quality, performance, and price. Same with Guerlain vetiver, heritage, shalimar, mitsouko, and Jicky.

>cntrl f vetiver
Nothing
>cntrl f Guerlain
Nothing… sad
Sotd Dior homme 2020 out of a tester. It’s not bad, but it’s uninteresting. It’s an inoffensive woody fragrance. I can’t imagine anyone disliking it.

Yes. Classic guerlain frags is all you need. If you have extra money to spend get classic carons and Dior Fahrenheit. Genug gesagt

I’m not. Its bergamot, Iris rose floral, patchouli, leather, vanilla, civet. Perfectly balanced and ever changing through out the wear.
