I wear dress shoes made by TLB which goes up to H width on all their lasts.
Very comfy and still elegant because their heels and waists are narrow, overall a solid fit and top notch construction quality for the price.
I go double sole on their low profile rubber sole for extra comfort too.

The only thing TLB doesn't have compared to brands that cost 2-3x as much is leather quality. It's full grain calfskin from some of the best tanneries in the world but it's not quite THE best.
For example they use black boxcalf from annonay in France, whereas if you go to someone like Mecciarello he'll use vintage German boxcalf dated back to the 1990's, made using tanning agents that were later made illegal in the EU. So you know it's the good stuff.
But Mec is 4 digits for a pair of shoes.

Those are cool
I always find Vibergs very good looking and I also really like their laces
They also seem well built and crease excellently

I sold my Vibergs because they were half a size too small and a full size too narrow. They were also bottom-heavy and dainite sole made them uncomfortable.

I have often thought about buying again, half a size up and 1035 last which is said to be a little wider. And Ridgeway sole so it's less rough.
Alternatively, go up a full size and throw a cushy insole in there. No width problems either but it may look clownish to wear UK11 shoes when I'm 180cm.

Always buy "slim fit" shirts
They're not actually slim or tight, they're just tapered and not rectangular

When you put it on, pinch both sides at your waist and pull them apart. It shouldn't have a lot of loose fabric, and if you look in the mirror the shape of the shirt (when pinched) from your armpits to the pinched waist should not be rectangular.

And when you think you've found the right size, try one smaller. Usually, that's your actual right size. Same goes for suits.
A shirt is too small only if the buttons are pulling and creating an x-shaped fold around them. That should never happen.

I've never bought boots before, I live in a warm comfy country, but I may be visiting Sweden soon.
What should I be looking out for when buying a pair of boots?

Is it possible to find a pair of leather boots that are both grippy and comfy and warm and durable, but at the same time can be used back home in the office under a suit or a pair of chinos?
