Will ripping skinny jeans make them fit more loosely? I have three pairs that are a little tight around the thighs. I'm a small guy with big thighs/calves from biking and squatting, and I usually wear straight-leg jeans, but I'd like to make use of my skinnies because they don't get a lot of wear.

I thought that maybe some DIY distressing in the thighs would loosen them at least slightly. Any experience with this?
