That's surprising to be honest. I thought for sure the buyout would at least solve the batch consistency issue. Everyone was convinced the new owners would come in and start streamlining everything and using cheaper ingredients. I expected the overall quality to go down but the consistency to go up.

And I still would love to know why the fuck Aventus is so inconsistent to begin with. It makes no sense. None of the clones have that problem, and neither do the other Creeds for the most part. CDNI has the silver cap and black cap thing, but those are made in two different countries and are likely slightly different formulations based on the needs of the individual markets. They're different when compared to each other, but they're consistent in and of themselves. And I've seen people complain about a little bit about performance decreasing over time with other Creeds, but people say that about everything. You never really hear people talking about different batches of Silver Mountain Water smelling like an altogether different fragrance. And you'd think that Aventus is the brand's most popular fragrance by leaps and bounds, they would have figured out a way to keep it consistent. It's all very weird.
