Panerai, and the whole richemond group by extention, is everything that is wrong with watchmakling.

Panerai specifically market to people who don't care about movements or actual horology, it's 100% apearences. Like a car enthusiast that never lifted a hood ever.

They might have had a few decent watches but now it's for status-obsessed arabs.
