Do barbers do longer cuts such as e.g. pic related, or do they only do short, clipper-based haircuts?

Asking because everyone I see at my barber has short hair and I'm considering something longer. But then again short haircuts with fade/taper are the fashion

Should I go to a hairdresser's salon instead of the barber's? Those places are full of women and not to sound sexist but I've never had a woman give me a good haircut
