i dont know how old are you but i assume in the twenties. In this case first course of action is to go and make a panoramic radiograph shot of your teeth so we can determine whether or not you have adult teeth buds/germs or rather fully grown ones in your bone beneath primary teeth. If there are any (fully developed but not erupted) they can be surgically exposed from underneath the bone and pulled by means of orthodontic braces in a few months into their place. Worst case scenario reveals no existing buds/tooth. In that case we need to look how large/long and unresorpted are the roots of your primary teeth since if they are in good condition the tooth crown can be prepared for a prosthetic dental crown made of ceramics or composite. This will improve the overall aesthetics and work far better than any dental implant long term. We can turn to dental implants or simple partial dentures in case the primary teeth are in bad condition and prognosis for the future retention is not good. The downsides to these procedures are many and generally they are or should be last resort. For implants we need proper diagnosis of bone density and volume, too little and its impossible thus bonegrafts or bone augmentation procedure is needed, also if its maxillary region sinuses cant be too low or we will drill into them so sinus lift is advised. Bad oral hygiene is a complete disqualifier. Removable dentures force you to carry acrylic(mostly) prosthetic in your mouth which doesnt prevent long term bone loss underneath it and can often irritate gingiva. Also i forgot about dental bridges, not a bad option but requires preparation of 2 (most optimal) teeth surrounding the empty space and putting a crown on each prepared tooth plus one crown imitation between them. This is better than removable denture but it also wont stop bone resorption beneath it and in few years you might notice space/dip forming under the missing tooth replacement (look up christiano ronaldo ).
