Yes, I'd bet that engraving cost about the same as the watch. High end engraving (no, not the type done by some retard with Parkinson's on etsy for $100) is extremely time consuming, difficult, and most of all importantly aren't many people who do it anymore. The subject is fascinating historically but I find it quite tacky on a watch. I certainly wouldn't turn down a Holland & Holland though.
