i've never owned a vintage seiko, my oldest stuff is a 40 year old casio which feels incredibly fragile despite being digital. my slav watches are also pretty creaky/loose feeling, but i'm not sure if that was how they were new or not too.

do you have a J14102 KS? i'd like one of those, they're on my list and i'm just debating on that, a marvel, or a lord marvel, or maybe a super.

is it worth attempting to restore a late 50s/early 60s king seiko?

or should i just buy a new seiko off amazon? i don't think any watch enthusiast would even acknowledge or think a 60-70 year old watch is actually cool anyways.
