I don't use my watches either, but a man over the age of 25 without a watch on his wrist looks wrong to me.

just your button-down shirts or polos if that is your thing. you can also find jackets made of linen, seersucker, or "tropical-weight" wool which you can wear in all but the hottest of climates.
