I "abused it" because it was too shiny and I got it to tell time, not be flashy. Not in love with the scratch but not sweating it either. A friend of mine dated a rolex owner and rolled her eyes recounting how he had to worry about getting jumped for it and I just understood ever since that it's better not to be precious about these things. When I'm old and my eyesight is failing, I may pull the trigger on something with a magnifying glass over the date window but the boomer watch doesn't suit my lifestyle right now.
