citizen is like seiko's bookish cousin, but instead of churning out affordable mechanical pieces they do it with quartz and ecodrive. The most accurate non atomic watch in the world is currently a citizen. It has an accuracy of +- 1 second per year... price tag is crazy though. Otherwise most of their watches are <1000$
