I guess it depends how you plan on wearing the watch. How big is it and how big is your wrist? Definitely doesn't look like a dress watch, and its fairly large, so I'm inclined to say a metal band. At the same time, if you payed 15 bucks for it that might not be the way to go if you end up spending more on a band.

If the square one has the band pictured than I think its fine.


Again, I'm not fashionable enough or something, but I don't like anything other than metal or leather bands - barring rubber on certain dive watches. If its a big watch that's for every day wear I'd say go metal.
