Point is a lot of people only have a fleeting interest in anime and use it as more of a trendy interest to fit in. If you go deeper than a surface level discussion, you'll find that people don't really care that much or don't bother finishing the shows they talk up ie fake ass mf's. idc too much tho just an observation
