Since you seem to know a good deal about vintage Swiss watches you might find this piece from my collection interesting (maybe you have seen it before if you are a regular here, which you probably are).

It’s a union horlogère, borgel silver case from WW1 period. Coincidentally union horlogere was under the same holding company as Alpina, like your picture states.
