Asking here cause I didn't see a fuccboi general.

What's the difference between different kinds of leather care products (polish, cream, saddle soap, etc) and how often should you use them?
I've got a thing of Obenauf's leather preserve that recommends applying periodically, and I've heard nothing but good things about Saphir, but all of the advice there has been to apply after each wear.

If anyone could provide some clarity it'd be much appreciated.
