I'm feeling those, after what you mentioned about sustainable production techniques and natural dyes, minimal treatment of leather. I love when there are unique points to every piece, like the way they do the bowls for the japanese tea ceremonies, I always liked that - finding beauty in little irregularities that don't affect quality, only character.

I'm big on sustainability and first world goods, I feel like I been missing out by letting my assumptions speak for me.

I'm in NYC, I was actually thinking of copping that military backpack a while back but the $600 price put me off because I intend to bike with it and beat it to hell and back. I've got some googling to do.
