anyone ever dealt with UPS/Customs?

they impounded one of my packages and after calling UPS like 4 times i finally got someone to send me a form that i need to fill out for the purposes of a “value breakout”.

i have to fill it out and provide the value of the movement, case, battery and band. how the fuck am i supposed to know this?

they also asked for my TIN, so i assume i have to eventually pay.

the process is weird af and i had no way of knowing that it was being held until i called them to ask why the package was stuck in some other city.
