Would 15k€ be overpriced for an early 70's 1675 Pepsi GMT? Plot twist: box but no papers, however it's a highly trusted AD that has the full Rolex experience and lounge etc...

>I personally hate mechanical shit because it's so inaccurate compared to quartz and needs more maintainence. a watch that I have to readjust every other week is for the bin.

I could never buy a shitter just because of the constant chore of fixing the time endlessly. But anything COSC certified is acceptable and it only really needs to be adjusted once every month, which is when you would change the date wheel anyway. If you get a really accurate, high quality movement you might never need to adjust it because you can self-regulate it by leaving it in different positions when you sleep. For example my old, beater Rolex has been regulated purely by me leaving the crown up when I sleep and it's only drifted off by a grand total of 3 seconds.

But yeah I would definitely say you need to be a "watch guy" to buy anything mechanical because quartz is, generally, superior from a raw accuracy standpoint.
