My new gear. Gonna see if I can try it out this week, but I can say a few things now:

Gloves are worth spending money on since your hands are the first to get cold. You want them to be easy to get on and off while also keeping snow out. On mine you can easily open and tighen the snow lock with one hand. Anything other than leather will get ripped by the snow any time you drag your hand.
Mske sure there's a snow lock in the waist of your jacket and that the pant legs are made for ski boots.

I can't use the hood of this jacket with a helmet. On my last jacket, I could adjust each side of the hood individually, so I used to keep the left side loose in order to look over my shoulder while the right side was tight to stop wind and keep the hood in place.

I mostly go for function though since I feel like I'm not riding if I'm not falling a few times. I want my stuff to be basically waterproof, with proper snow locks and good options for heat regulation (on the fly and via layering). The wool anorak has a drawstring at the bottom and that's about it.

For base layers merino is great. Used to have something like this, but lost it

Decided to try on some new gear

>>14930139
Basic, but pretty nice
>>14930154
I've found you risk getting a bit top heavy with those types of shoes and skinny jeans paired with a winter jacket. Would need to see the full profile though.
>>14930159
Your're a dude right. That silhouette gives the illusion of wide hips. Still looks pretty cool though.
>>14930294
Don't like the shoes and overall not sure what the appeal is supposed to be.
>>14930301
Black blob
>>14930400
Don't like how the pants look tucked. Otherwise a good rural outfit.
>>14930434
Really nice
>>14930449
Even nicer. You seem to have a lot of interesting jackets
>>14930562
Horrible fit on pants and shoes don't belong.
>>14930572
Might be good if you put on real pants, or at least earth-toned shorts.
>>14930761
This is absurdly unflattering.
>>14931045
I don't think the shirt will look very good when you stand straight. Interesting choice though.
>>14931304
No to these pants
>>14931315
Sleeves are very obviously toi short, which makes it look like you're playing dress up. You shouldn't have that gap between collars either, but that might close when you button it.
>>14931804
Actually pretty good, but shoes are too much
>>14931916
Nice and simple
>>14931977
Pants look uncomfortably tight
>>14932009
Pretty nice. Unsure if that blue belongs with the tan though
>>14932220
Looks ok but not very exiting.
>>14932295
Try a different skirt and take a better picture. Put the phone on a counter and use the timer. You can use it as a "before" pic for when you loose weight and develop some kind of decency. There's no filters in real life.
>>14932632
Bad pic, but seems ok.
>>14932907
Good stuff
>>14932992
Nope, still don't get the appeal
>>14933024
Cringe, but at least it's cohesive cringe
>>14933191
Hat, hair and collar work together to create a subtly feminine (cute) impression.
>>14933432
Bobs n vagene? Do you need reporting to the IRS as well?
>>14933603
You almost make those awful pants wotk.
