Are Clarks DBs always so terribly uncomfortable when you first get em? I wore em today and especially the heel feels very loose around the ankle.

Any type of conditioning will darken boots. I used Obenauf's and they darken a bit more than mink oil does. I actually wished mine were lighter. They started off pretty dark.

Boots general.

This is the nicest I've ever seen Clarks look. Obviously conditioned with something, but what? Something oil based? I've been using Obenauf's LP, and it doesn't quite look the same.
