They are still pretty well made, but yeah... you're paying a HUGE markup for the quality/brand... Like legit 2-8x more compared to a similar columbia or northface.

Theres those TAD knockoff ranger jackets that can be found for around $40. I have one in grey and its pretty nice... WAY too warm for summer though(its fleece lined. to be honest its actually used as my winter jacket with a midlayer, when its -30C)

my hard shell(its a TAD knock-off. CAnt justify spending $450 when the chinese version looks almost identical and is about 80% as good. Not like i'm scaling the mountains, or trying to assassinate OBL and need that quality)
