I have two questions

1: I have a widow's peak and this fucked this on my hairline where it grows out in a weird pattern, on the right side of my head near the end of the hairline. I'm sure you know what I mean. What the fuck do I do about it? do I just shave it?

2- I have very thick, wavy/curly black hair. I went to the barber and asked for a pompadour. He said that I need to use a hair dried at night to comb it into shape, then in the morning apply gel and comb it again. Then he said I need to use conditioner on it while it is DRY to get rid of the pomade before washing it, then shampooing twice.

Is his advice good? can anyone offer some advice on this? I think a pomp would suit me. My hair is kind of messy but you can sort of see how he cut/styled it
