Moving into a new job soon, formal attire. My current office is very lax with its dress code (I usually just wear plain black jeans/trousers and a shirt) however this one seems a lot stricter. Going to pick up some new suits for the day-to-day.

Should I wear a three-piece so that I can just wear the waistcoat in the office. Personally I always think a suit and tie without the jacket - which due to comfort I wouldn't be wearing at my desk - looks sloppy as fuck. Shirts get visibly creased and pull out at the back over the day. The whole look of an office where everybody does 'the bare minimum' to be classed as formal is just bad and kinda depressing.

I'm quite a tall, broad-shouldered dude and often wear more flashy pieces confidently in a casual setting, if that helps. Plus, a matching waistcoat helps slim down my look considerably and accents my v-shape.
