Jacket/coat should match your pants other wise don’t bother wearing a jacket/coat

If you’d rather not have a matching top and pants wear a sweater over a lighter polo or oxford shirt. Sweater color and vary a lot and still look great

Red sweater, cream/white colored oxford shirt, khakis, and some dark brown leather loafers look very nice
