Well /wt/, I have a Powermatic 80 on my bench right now, with butterfly clasp problems (whole piece of shit is so loose it opens on its own), so I guess I'll try to have a look at the escape wheel, so we can settle this debate once and for all.

Only problem is the automatic bride completely obscures it and I can't get a good look through the display caseback, but I think I'm seeing flat white plastic (desu could be my imagination).

I'll try to shine a light in there through the caseback. I won't open it though, opening a customers watch when you don't have to and fuck around with the movement is a super shitty move, and a huge breach of trust.

Honestly don't know, but it's a crowded country, so probably way more than say the huge uninhabited wilderness in the Rockies or something.
