the NB 575s definitely give off a better dad core vibe than a palewave-oriented sneaker because of its chunky silhoutte and 20th century inspired design

the 575 has fallen into obscurity in recent years. however there's been a new surge thanks to the Elite series - a throwback to the design that made New Balance stand out when it first entered the athletic footwear scene in 1906.

so you are correct; you're right in saying that it's not a shoe designed for palewave because of its minimalistic color scheme and technical design features
