Hey, everyone.

I'm a student from the Miami-Dade area, currently trying to build up a wardrobe. I've read all of the stickies and everything, but they don't really take into account climate/utility aspects of the clothing, only aesthetics.

well, the area i live in is 80%-95% humidity and 80F+ daily, and I'd really want to get into some of the styles I see on here (I've been lurking for a little more than 6mths), but I can't manage to wear any of it out and about (I'm not going to clubbing in Miami wearing Geobaskets/"menswear")

I've built up a decent inspo folder - BUT NONE OF IT IS WEARABLE HERE.
Is anyone in a similar situation, can anyone give me some advice.

I cannot into fashion. I have been wearing the same clothes (sometimes literally!) since sixth grade. I never really got interested in it, but now I am getting a big person job.

I will be coming into some money soon, and would like people to stop treating me like scum they stepped on in a gym locker floor.
