if you're fat eat less, if you're skinny eat enough to maintain a healthy weight. exercise enough that you can do a reasonable amount of physical labour and walk or run to destinations. if your job requires it this might mean gaining more muscle. excess muscle is pointless and expensive to maintain unless you find enjoyment out of body building or take part in a sport. as we can tell by skyrocketing obesity statistics, physical fitness is an outdated meme, and lifestyles in modern society do not require it. you don't need to hunt and fight like a barbarian, but at least you'll thrive in jail and can get the boipussy of your choosing. eventually we will embrace our psionic powers and discard our useless flesh, using our minds to travel and sustain ourselves until technological advances allow us to preserve our brains and attach them to giant mecha bodies, one day embracing our destinies as masters of the universe. the human anatomy will be long forgotten when we achieve mastery over space and time, and as you age and your body begins to wither and bones begin to ache, remember your mortality and remember how you spent your life. remember the thousands of hours in the gym doing to same thing over and over, and repent for never having instead honed your brain and contributed to C-Consciousness, advancing humanity towards its inevitable hivemind and perhaps allowing us to achieve enlightenment within your lifetime. you are the weak links of humanity dragging us all down, refusing to embrace the future. shame on you, /fit/.
