Are Doc Marten 1460's worth US $120? Or should I cough up another $90 for the vintage made in England ones?

Was thinking about copping a pair of these, what do you guys think?

What sort of pants should I wear with them? A looser pair that will cover the top half or a pair that will show the whole boot? If I want to do the latter should I get slim or skinny jeans?

Not a regular here, but now that I've got a good paying job and plenty of money in the bank, there's something silly that I've always wanted to purchase.

A nice pair of stylish leather boots.

I'm thinking of getting a pair of Dr. Martens, along the lines of pic related. Would this be a fashionable choice?

If not, what would you recommend?
