Tried to make a thread. Got told to come here. Tl;dr: Got promoted, need to buy better shoes.

I'm trying to stay under the $600 mark here, so I considered a pair of AE's (pic related). Can anyone comment on quality, or toss out their own recommendations? I generally wear blues and greys, so bear that in mind I suppose. As it stands, I buy cheap $60 oxfords from Bass every other month or so. I'm in the northeast, so winter is currently raping my shoes. What do I do to avoid salt and grime from destroying my first pair of respectable shoes?

Hey /fa/, I need a hand here. I just recently received a promotion at work, and with it came a sizeable raise. I decided that I need to get some better shoes for work. I'm in sales, and it's an incredibly image conscious corporate culture. While I'm regularly complimented on my dress (Cheap off the rack crap with decent color theory), it's expected that I go above and beyond now. I know how to do this in every area apart from my shoes.
