Maybe it doesn't look as bad in this pic, but that's about a quarter inch, more if you try and open it. Not to mention the leather isn't cut correctly, so there is a noticeable amount of excess that slightly hangs over the leathers. It's stitchdown construction, so it doesn't matter that much, but it looks godawful.
