You're just gonna have to decide whether dressing the way you like to dress is something thats important to you. If it is, dress the way you want to dress and you will attract people who will want you for who you are.

If you don't want those people then conform to whatever standards other people you want to attract hold for themselves. Just be conscious that you are dressing for them, not for yourself and you need to know if you want to keep that up in the long run.

I went out a couple of months back, wearing something that I really liked and a female friend complemented me on it.
She said >I really like this one, it's not as feminine as your other outfits, you still look like a man
And it made me kinda sad cause all I heard from that comment was that she wasn't a fan of the femininity I really liked putting into my outfits. I've made a decision to find a partner that will celebrate me for that not just tolerate it.
